Any pics of hot rods, customs that are not american steel. Got this idea from the Non-US hot rods post.... kinda what I thought it was going to be from the title.

This is about a 2 week old pic. I'm just waiting for warmer weather so I can paint.

Man, I love Topolinos (and Simca 5's)!

I've got a backyard full of these (Fiat Bianchina) that I haven't figured out what to do with (other than scrap). Radius the rear wheelwells, lop off the front sheetmetal, and throw on a straight axle, I guess.

Stick them on ebay as is. If they are like most of them they have no floors and you can get around $500 each for them. The more thats still stuck to them, the more they are worth.

I should give it a try, it couldn't hurt. I was thinking I'd make a little dune buggy out of one of them.

CBB - I think I've seen a photo of that one before, different angle, though. The front end has been lengthened a bit on it. That musta been the suicide machine Bruce Springsteen was singing about.

  18. Man are you kidding. We've done this over and over - in the past week yet. And those are not fresh pix. Shit, do a search!

  19. Those things are pretty rare and quite valuable, at least in Europe. Get good money restored. Don´t just scrap them!

There is a really good show in Chatel every year Francine. In 2004 I drove over with my dad in his '34 and met up with some other rods and cruised down to Spain. Awesome 2500km road trip, French countryside rocks

Do you get Powerglide magazine? There are usually French built and French based rods. I think the Editor's car is based on a French chassis.
