Just realized you can no longer get anything narrower than a 15x7 in an American Racing Torq thrust original or torq thrust D in a big ford 5x5.5 bolt pattern. Is there any other options out there for a 15x5/6 or am I going to have to find a vintage set?

Just afraid a 15x7 would be too wide on the front of my 64 F100 and still look ok.

I'd call Summit and ask if they can physically check to make sure they have them before ordering.

Had to laugh at the fool who said he ordered a set and they didn't fit his 47 Mercury because it had a 5 on 4-1/2 pattern. Who the hell knows so little about his car he doesn't know what the bolt pattern actually is before ordering wheels.

  6. Summit/Jegs might have old stock sitting on the shelf too.

    15 X 7 reversed would be PERFECT on FRONT of 64 f-100 , 15 X 8 REVERSED ON BACK

Do they make any 16" wheels.....yet?

  10. US mags and other companies make similar looking wheels. I'd browse before you commit to AR's . I've heard mixed reviews about their newer stuff

Contacted both. Jegs said out of stock w/ no lead time from AR. Summit had two in a shelf in NV. Got those coming but the 8.5 wide ones are on backorder lol. But I have fond those elsewhere.

  12. you used to be able to call American Racing and talk to the custom shop and order them in special bolt patterns. I did that with a pair of Salt flat specials years ago. cost a little more but not much.

To do that I would have had to order the 2 piece billet wheels. All sorted out now. Gonna sent them out to the powedercoater when they get here.
