that thing could be well constructed, wicked fast, and get 30 MPG but it is still ugly and definitly NOT a traditional styled HOT ROD, which in case you haven't heard, is what this site is about.

If you are talking about the truck with the mopar back half. that vehicle is badd ass and fast as hell. it deserves all the press it can get. I remember it from the hamb drags, and it got and deserved respect all day long.

Just like back in the day...

 

I stood in a book store and read the mag today. At first glance I laughed--but all I did was look and drool. Thats more Hot Rod than I've seen in a while. It's so badass it can be anywhere.HAMB or not.

 

It's definitely not boring!

I got a chance to look at it during Drag Week, neat truck. Bummer that it broke, and couldn't finish the race.

As a subscriber, I just got the issue of Hot Rod (February 2012) that proclaims "NO BORING CARS".

I am bored with this months content.

one of the best covers in awhile...... i dont really call this car a ratrod.... at least not the way i define them..... no plastic rats or random things zip screwed in place, crappy stickwelds, no late model IFS .with a decent 2 tone paint job on it everyone would be calling it a custom....kind of a radical version of plowboys space truck or the luner lander...it hauls ass ....

 

This changes everything...

 

All I know is we did not want to line up against this truck he would have spanked us, and we were running a blown hemi in a dodge roadster truck with a chrysler back half.

 

I may be quick, but it's not my cup of tea.
