Hey guys to anyone that knew Barry Yanicek from NJ: It is with great sadness that I report that he died last night. He was just 39 years old. Some of you guys knew him. Others would surely recognize his slammed blue/white hammered-top 60 Olds 4 door burn out machine. He battled his demons for the past few years and passed from liver failure and other complications as a result of that. Barry was a great body and paint guy and did some really great stripe work too. He was a great friend to anyone he met and will be greatly missed. I will post up an update here for those interested in attending a memorial service for him. It will most likely be here in Manville early next week. Stay tuned here for details.
Thats very upsetting to hear. I didn't know Barry very well but we crossed paths many times. My thoughts are with his family and friends.
Sorry to hear about your friends passing. My condolences to you, his family and friends. GODSPEED BARRY.
Never met him,but remember the car.Sorry to hear Mike.My condolences to his family. Godspeed Barry Godspeed.
Sorry for your loss. I just buried my 32 year old cousin from the smae deal. As I told his friends, the experiment is over. Sorry again, may he rest in peace
Thank you to all. Still no concrete service info yet. Should have it worked out by the weekend. For you local guys his father is selling his belongings to help pay for all the bills. I put an add in the misc. section "tools in central NJ". He was a body guy and hed a decent amount of stuff. PM me if you want to come look. Offering good deals on it all. There is also a s10 pick up ($1500) and a kz900 ($650) up for sale. Truck is a reliable parts runner. Typical s-10 issues. Bike fired right up and sounded good. Looks pretty clean.
Thanks again for the kind words. Please help spread the word that his memorial service will be Monday January 18 at 6PM at the Manville Reformed Church. 234 s. 5th Ave. in Manville, NJ 08835.
A thanks for the support from Barry's family. Thanks to those that sent prayers and thoughts and to those that took time from their lives to come to the service.
