I'll be there Sunday also, but I don't know how your going to win the truck when I am going to! ha This is a great event and the weather is supposed to be nice.
We're going in my '40 Plymouth Coupe. I ran my '36 Dodge up the hill for several years, back when I still ran the flathead. It's a great show, don't miss it! And if you have a pre '42 car with the original motor, run the Hill!
I am there. Love this event now if I could only get motivated to fix the cable brakes on my crosley so I could go up that hill.
if by "fix the cable brakes" you mean attach the cable to the throttle? i don't get it, you want to go, not stop.
Saturday was fun. It's been a family tradition. When the kids were little, they got a real kick out of running the hill in our pickup. I liked the 1936 Norton that ran the hill. The WWII Jeeps running the hill were cool. The Steamer that ran the hill was surprizingly quick. What happened to last years' fire trucks? why didn't they show this year? Saw some HAMB stickers on a few cars and on a teardrop trailer. More Crosleys than before. Loved those straight-eight Packards. This year's raffle "car" is a nice Dodge stake-bed pickup. One of the most popular vendor booths was one doing Krylon spray-can art that was really good. www.spaceartfamily.com is quite entertaining. I want to learn to do that with Krylon. Click on DEMO and see a show. Sad to say that it also shows why severe liver damage may run in the family....
I went Sat. took Wife and Grandaughter..She loved watching the cars run the hill.. FYI: The Bubba's Shop was well represented... What a fun day.. PS: I guess I did'nt win the truck....unless they forgot to call me....Ya that's it...
Had a great time on Sunday, great weather, got to meet MercDueceMan. Got some good buys at the fleamarket/swap meet. Great food and a whole lot of cool cars and people.
flh4speed, I got a few, but the wife has the cards at work downloading to her FaceySpace page. We got some video too, but most of it is on my Mom's camera 30 miles away. I'll post some pix tonight. Luke
I love the place. Been going for the last seven years. The 34 Norton belongs to Jerry Ficklin from Indy.

For some reason, you have to hit the little play button at the bottom of each video to get them to play. Sorry, my crappy camera has no sound. More (better) video (with sound) in a couple of days.
