i've been staying up till the we hours reading posts on the hamb, figure i should register and join the conversations. i'm not a traditional hotrodder, into the newer stuff myself. while there are many cars i'd like to own, my favorites are any gm product from 58/59. just a quad headlight fan. bought my 1st 58 chevy pickup in 73 and have owned a selection of very rusty 58s & 59s since. bought my current 58 in 88 as a parts truck for a 59 panel i still own the body was too nice to cut so i truckrodded it. the cab was done just in time for the salt season, i have 20 miles on the rebuild now it's back in the shop to get the bed finished. i do all my own work with the exception of paint. this one is updated with a mustII frontend, 86 trans am disc brake rearend, gm ramjet 350, 700r4, ac, ps, pb, pw, cruise and tilt wheel. the trunk is an 89 park ave, still have the bugs to work out on it. i got carried away with a fiberglass interior when i found fiberglassforums.com. thanks for letting me join hamb
