Well it is raining here in SoCal so this is a perfect time to stop lurking and jump in. Thanks to everyone for the combined years of knowledge, info, and photos posted. I've been reading the HAMB for about ten months and have gained respect for fellow traditional hot rodders sharing info on the style of cars I feel confortable around. I am married with a girl(9) and boy(7). My wife drives a '50 Hudson Pacemaker daily, everywhere and anywhere. It has a mild 350/350, camaro clip and a 9". Future mods.are a fuel tank up grade, engine upgrades, and c-channel and bag the rear. I am in progress of going through my '46 Hudson pickup. It has a 308 super w/overdrive which will get full 7x+ mods, lowered stock suspension, suede blk(what else),shorten the bed 6",whites,etc. Future mods are rounded door jams, a shave and possibly 55 Caddy front bumper? Completion hopefully for VLV. Thanks again Joe- Darn, also not too savvy on the pc. I will post photos soon as I figure out this size problem... my photos are 1.5mb
Welcome Hudrodz, Great to here more Hudsons are coming to life. I know alot of guys with Hudson stuff. Ones right down in So. Cal in Fontana. If you're looking for any parts or pieces let me know and maybe I can steer you in the right direction. Our daily driver is a 51 Hudson 4dr Hornet 350/700R. I drag race a 46 Hudson pickup and have recently picked up 5 more Hudsons. Hope you figure out the picture troubles. Later, Bob
Shit! At first I thought this post was gonna be about a federally subsidized hot rod building program for us poor people, I should have known better Anyhow, mr. hudrodz you got a nice car there & the truck is cool too. Welcome. Billy
