Way up here on the Canadian West Coast, where vintage iron seems to be surviving OK. Decided to join the site since I just purchased a piece of vintage iron today. Just bought a 1936 3 window Oldsmobile coupe that has basically been stored away since the early 70's as an original. It is complete but the front sheet metal has been removed in the last few years as a plan was being formed to drop in a newer V8. It seems to be a rust free car with straight frame and original front and rear suspension. Great interior with a few minor tears, very old or original paint, and only minor dents from the firewall back. The front fenders will need a few larger dents pounded out, but are definitely useable. Plans are to leave the body as stock as possible and just upgrade the suspension and drivetrain. Hoping to leave the paint on it for a while if possible. Other projects and vehicles waiting turns are: 1956 M100 Pickup in black primer going for a MII front and new leafs in the rear this month. Has 302/C4 already in and running. 1953 F100, 1967 GMC short fleet,Old time Altered Race T-bucket all for future projects. Will be posting on main board to see about any info on 30's Oldsmobiles..... Thanks.....Hagen
