Hello all. I have been lurking in the old pictures now for about a week. I decided to do the right thing and join up. I really enjoy the pics. Seeing how things were is really cool. The old cars, buildings, the beautiful women of the day. I really do need a time machine. I am the owner of a 70 Pontiac LeMans Sport Vert and a 67 Camaro RS. I am in a continueing process working on the cars (yes they both run and are mostly restored) and reseaching them for their owners and history, what I have as of now is: The Pontiac comes from Mc Andrew Pontiac Inc, 209 S Broadway, Lawrence, MA. A defunct dealer. I have no idea who the original owner was and cant find any info on the dealer except its gone. The car was built in April of 70 and sold. The car was MIA until 98 when it showed up in Tampa. Before then I have no history on the car. The Camaro was bought by Matthew Gambrel 309 Granada Dr. Columbia TN at Griggs Chevrolet Company 108 South Main St. Mt. Pleasent, TN. in November of 1966. That dealership is also defunct and there are no Matt Gambrels in Mt. Pleasent, so I have hit a dead end there also. If anyone has any information on these dealerships or Mr. Gambrel please give me a shout. Take care and thanks. Mike PS great board you guys have here
