Hello all... just dropped in to introduce myself. I live in Southern Maryland, and am aspiring to own and drive a 48-52 Ford F1. I previously owned a 1979 Ford Bronco and was a frequent poster on a Bronco specific forum. I have since sold that truck, and have grown interested in the 48-52 and 53-56 Ford trucks. It seems the 53-56 have a huge following, though in my opinion the 51-52 is the best looking truck EVER.

Lots of cool stuff on this site, glad to have found it.

That is BADASS. The first tandem axle '52 I have ever seen. What are your plans for it? My grandpa has a 55 Chevy farm flatbed truck that is about the same size as that.

Plenty of those around here. We have a 1972 Glasspar tri-hull. A small little 18 footer, but it is unique and it does what we want it to do, zoom and play around in the river!

Unfortunately the tandems have left the building. It's getting an air ride rear out of a freightliner school bus and front axle to match, and a ramp style bed for the rear. It has about 60K original miles, came out of the mountains west of Bend OR, spending it's life as a fire truck. I got it as a cab and chassis.

Are you going to the Charlottle Hall car show April 7? I'm from Prince Frederick, but work in St. Mary's.
