Hey guys, glad to be on board.
Currently, I am starting on a new project, another Mercury Meteor. I sold my first one a couple of years ago. This ones a '63 2 door hardtop with buckets, console and factory a/c. I thought it would be a quick build into an early 60s mild custom. Unfortunately, I bought the car w/o keys and once I got it home and got the trunk open I found were all the rust was hiding. There was no rust anywhere on the car, top or bottom when I first examined the car. The whole underside of the trunk lid and almost the entire lip where there used to be weatherstripping are pretty eaten up (not surprising here in Houston). Currently looking for suitable parts car.
