Well I finally did it. :D Since September of last year I have taken a stab at restoring my ’48 Delivery. This is my first time and everything I’ve learned has been from manuals, a few old-school-ers, but most importantly the people here on the H.A.M.B!

As far as pain goes, other than fracturing my thumb, 6 thousand nearly-needing-stitches, slices, cuts, bangs, scrapes, bruises, knuckle-busters and stabs, I think over-all it hurts most in the wallet!

Again, thank you all! Couldn't have done it without you.

You've done something that quite a few never do and that's see the project through to completion. Congratulations!!!

You should be very proud, it turned out great. Building a car is like childbirth, once it is over the pain is only a memory. :D (or so they tell me :p)

    Love the color too.

Yes, seeing that empty engine compartment scared the living daylights out of me.

As far as pain goes, I had asked an old-schooler if his project was completed yet? He looked at me confused saying, “It is never complete, there is always something”?

That’s sort of scary also, if you were to ask me. I still have a few bugs to work out too.

As far as the color goes, it was a major factor in choosing to buy the car. As I also thought it was great.

Thank you all, kind words mean so much to me, and I can’t wait to do another. ;)
