My name is Joel. I've been into cars ever since it was cool to run from the cops in 69 Chargers and 79 Trans Ams. I started drawing cars during the late 70's as a kid, then got into airbrushing in the 90's when it was still a pretty big thing. The airbrush magazines turned me on to hand lettering and pinstriping. That got me into the sign industry where I was lucky enough to land a job at one of the last sign shops in the NW suburbs of Chicago that still did hand lettering and billboards. Then I made a move to Cali and got into the hot rod scene where I happened upon a certain 50 Ford. If you're still reading, I am getting back into the "scene" here in PHX...
