Another year gone by, our annual gathering, started at 8:00 over by 11:00.
    More than eighty cars showed up, most HAMB friendly. Weather in the low 40s, cool but bearable. DSC02720.JPG DSC02721.JPG DSC02722.JPG DSC02723.JPG DSC02725.JPG DSC02726.JPG DSC02728.JPG DSC02729.JPG DSC02732.JPG DSC02733.JPG

  7. damnn, paint must be really cheap around there. kinda unusual to see finished paint outnumber patina. nice show, thanks for the pics.

    Wow! What a great show. I didn't see a single car I didn't enjoy.

I like all of the cars and trucks you have posted, but that 52-- 4 door Hudson Twin H hornet is just BAD ASS ! I would have stepped up to the owner and waved some serious cash in his face!

I am sure he isn't interested in selling it!

I love the fact that more and more people are catching onto just how cool these 4 door Hudson's really are! Pure Art Deco streamline styling, and plenty of room for a geezer to take a nap in the back seat!

Lotus park is approximately one mile down the American River from Coloma California, the place in 1848 077A5577.JPG where gold was discovered setting off the California Gold Rush.
This picture is Sutter's saw mill, the actual discovery site. Photo by my brother Tom Phipps.
