All I have to say is Cody awesome job on these slicks. Now with 14x5 E/Ts and 15x6 steelies. Tires are 195/70/14 and 30x10x15 Hurst cheaters I love the look and thought i'd post some pics for y'all. The green steelies was the previous look, what ya guys think?
I think Todd is Smokin The Green Looks wayyy better, Now ditch ALL the green ... bring it into the '50s~'60s era your looking for..... Not the '80s~'90s Mini Truck era with the Kawasaki Green. Just my opinion though.......
MUCH BETTER! LOOKS GOOOD!! now you have to change your avatar or whatever the pic is called by your name. got those mean lookin cool wheels on now how about a black grill to match?
A lot of '30's,'40's and '50's hot rods ran Apple green wheels and stripes. The Ford Apple green started with the '30-'31 Model A's and ran at least thru '36 as a stock ford wheel/pinstripe option. Some guys coming home from WW 2 used green on their "hot rods" as well.I guess I'm partial to green as I used to run my own mix of green on my roadster several years ago....They're painted black now.............
Very true, But look at the build difference & wheel difference you are comparing to. Yours is Very '40s influanced & 16" Solids His is Late '50s Early '60s & had what looks like Chevy S~10 wheels LOLOL.. Is that the GREEN fog you speek of
it would ALL be better without any green.... grey it all out.. but if he must keep the green in the front i think he should balance it in the rear as well.. light fogging over the trim ring im not gonna back ddown desoto my friend! hahaha
Hey thanks guys yeah i think i was on acid when the grabber green thing came to me. Its getting a chrome insert soon and the pinstripes are going bye bye I gots me some body work to do I am thinking either bermuda blue or candy apple red (think SWC & Big John). the motor is going chevy orange like a fresh 327 transplant so don't worry I'm ridding this thing of green. It went with what I wanted in my head but in the end it was confused if you know what I mean? now the cars getting what it needs a correct style!
I vote for foging the rear's "Tires that is!" Car looks fantastic! Email me shots "Nice big ones" so I can put you on the website. Adios all you troublemakers Cody Hurst
