As I am new to this site and never posted anything I would like to ask for someone's assistance in directing me to the proper area of the site as not to break a rule.
Over many years I have dismantled many cars and trucks and used or ridded myself of most of the parts but now find that I still have some items still around that I had forgotten about and do not remember the origins and need help identifying a few of them.
    Question is -
Where is the correct place on this site to post a request and photos of parts that I no longer can identify?
    Thanks

If you know what you have just list them in "parts for sale" if you need help identifying parts I would list in techinial help and post a photo of the item. I'm still fairly new here and most of the guys are pretty understanding. Welcome!

  5. This is the place ask, post a photo and someone will know or ask for more information so that they can answer your question.

    Thanks for the help.
Attached are some photos of the first item I would like to identify.
It appears to me that this may be an old four speed transmission but have no idea from what or when.
I have tried to identify the symbol cast on the transmission, which appears to be the letter "P" circled by a cog???
If anyone may have an idea or direct me in the right direction to help identify this it would be much appreciated.
