I have just begun receiving Alerts for New Threads Started.
I don't know of anything I've changed to start receiving said notifications.
Is there a way I can stop them from appearing in my Alerts?

Click on Watch Thread and it will give you the menu option of "watch thread with email notification" OR "watch thread without notification"

Click on "watch thread without notification"

Thanks, but the alerts are for New Threads, rather than for threads I've chosen to watch.
That's seven new threads started in the last four hours, that I have received notice of in my "Alerts".
I just don't need to be notified every time someone starts a new thread!

You were following the main forum with email notifications turned on. I fixed it for you.
