This '30 Model A will be our clubs next project, brought it home today. Looking for ideas and mods you have done if you guys don't mind sharing and can post a few photos of your shiny coupes. Open to all types of mods, it's not staying stock. Thanks! 20190710_204234.jpg

what a great starting point - would leave body & fenders alone - upgrade brakes/steering, dropped axle, etc

Belongs to one of the club members, it's an open slate. Typically we build muscle cars and Vette's, this will be the first rod. I think it is a great starting point. The owner will join soon and have lots of questions.

1940’s 16” solid wheels, 750/820 on rear, 550s on front.
    Dropped axle.
Dropped headlight bar with ‘34 commercial lights. (existing lights are hideous- they MUST go).
I wouldn’t be brave enough to chop the roof, but a 3”- 4” chop would work.
Hop up the 4cyl or drop in a Flathead V8.
Maybe change diff ratio if too low. (last thing to worry about).

Great stuff. Wasn't aware of the dropped headlight bar, thanks for all the parts info. It's going to get chopped and the owner wants a Flathead.

    Here’s three different examples,
    Stock, dropped and hi-boy.

Last one only works if fenderless.
