original 1934 chassis split wishbones, original dropped axle 12 bolt rear

original 1934 ford truck grill, on a shelf for 47 years bought from the original car owner whe hit a deer with it

    perfect passenger door

This weekend I tear into the frame, someone did an interesting frame box job on it... and one rail is a little tweaked... oh and can anyone identify these disc calipers?

I need a cab and driver door still, sucks because I want to bolt a cab and motor in it... :D I know of a couple flatheads or a local 331 hemi... any thoughts?

anyone know of a local cab/door?

Well it looks to me like you have a good start to a nice hot rod truck!
Fenders? No fenders? Good luck with your project.

From this angle the rear spring hanger looks a little weak?

Maybe there are some gussets we can't see.
Other wise you better be adding a little more steel to that mount.

Good luck with the Flatty too.

The rear hanger goes all the way around the underside of the axle, but yes I too am planning on adding some milled steel stock.

I am going fenderless on this one. I was going to channel it, but I'm liking the way it sits right now, and once I get the engine in, the front end will be down. I am 6' 3" and have a hard time fitting anyway.

The flatty is a untouched 1949 ford, well see if I can get her to run.

Anyone able to identify the from brake calipers? They are 4 piston. Can anyone give me any info on them...???

Tearing the flat head apart, it came out of a 46,00 mile car. The oil is fresh in the motor... I think this is going to be an easy engine "freshening"
