New PB's for the Black Knight Racing Team

we had a great weekend at the Nostalgia Drags with both cars breaking there previous bests with the chev now into the 13's with a 13.7 and the a new pb for the flatty at 13.3( on pump gas),which came with a tap on the shoulder from ANDRA for going under the 13.5.... we are going out this friday nite to try and fatten the flatty up and tri and get it back to consistant 13.5's

 

Don't ya just hate that tap on the shoulder business..But I guess it's for safety sake...

What tach are you turning at those ETs?
And on what gearing?

 

The Chev's really coming along well, congrats, what sort of speed are they both doing now?

The chev is running 4.6 gears in the diff and is runing a 4 speed muncie box leaving in 2nd gear ,

the 13.7 pass had 1/8 mile time of 8.778 @80.04mph with the 1/4 being 13.711 @98.36mph the boy's are not sure on the rpm over the line will get them to look next time.

The flatty, well took it out to slow it down by taking some timeing out . took it down by twos (started @ 20 degress total ) ended up at 16 degress total timing and we ran a new pb ob 13.304 @102.29mph and 1/8 time off 8.5346 @83.06mph .The flatty is running 5.0 in the diff and a 4 speed toploader leaving the line in 3rd gear crossing the line at bout 5300rpm

The chev is getting a head job and the shimes taken out of the crank .
