Hi, I'm Dan from CA (in the desert). I bought this gem ('65 Custom 500 with a 352) from a friend 12 years ago, the plan was for my dad and I to get her back on the road and make some road trips. He had a lot of knowledge and experience, as most guys born in the '40s did. But, time is a cruel master, and now it will be for me and my son, maybe even my grandson to do. I'm not ignorant about cars, but most of my skill has been developed keeping late models running through the years. But the motor ran a year ago, and I'll just have to see about the rest.

Hi & welcome. The first thing is to just get it running Check or fix things to make it safe like tires & brakes. That way you can enjoy & drive it while you complete everything else. When you start open a build post on the hokey ass message board with photo's.
Ask questions anytime you need help.
    Good luck, Jimmie
