Wow! Nice metal work. Don't worry too much about getting people to watch this thread. It's very active and, as already said, there are a lot of lurkers. Most of us don't post if we have nothing to add but we are watching. I'm subscribed.

20160609_164319.jpg And the passenger side. Should I mount the bumper and trunk... Or work the door jams? I don't wanna do the jams...

Thank you for sharing! I think I'll save those 59 lights for when I get a van! I'm pretty dead set on the 56 bezels now. I've already started to clean and trim them.

Shoe Box Ford style custom front end. 4 wheel drive stance. Raised white letter tires on back only. Shades of Little Bat in the rear. 10 lbs of metal flake. Graphics. No bumpers. A tilt front end on a Flop Top and Horse Power in your Face. Man the 60's were hard on some of us builders. Then there's a Slammed 57 behind it with scallop's. I'm going to say 1975.

My guess would be that it has not been nearly long enough to make it forgivable. Look at the attire of people at the show, and the low profile tire behind held up by the cardboard spokes model.

    I bet it was post-2001.

20160611_175409.jpg 20160612_131059.jpg 20160611_232740.jpg Update... Got the trunk supports cut out, trunk mounted again. And it still fits. Got the bumper mounted back up and straight. And I took it off the Jack stands, I had to see what it looked like on the ground after doing this much work. Next up.... Door jams. Ugh.

Amazing work so far, can't wait to see it come together. I gotta ask the seating position, will you lower the floors, or do you end up riding high in the car? Is this a permanent top less ride - Arizona I can see that. Keep the updates coming, more pics, more pics.

I'm gonna have to make everything. The seats will have to be really low. And yes, permanently a convertible.

I've always wanted to find a cheap ugly duckling to chop and slice the crap out of just to learn and see what it turns out as. You're making me jealous right now. Coming out great
