  7. There are only so many survivor HotRods out there with bona fide traceable history.
    Congrats!

  8. This car belongs to a friend of mine and runs 820's on the rear. They fill the fenders up just right. It is hard to tell in this pic. Tim 061.JPG

  9. 33: I hope you just sort of exhale, relax and take your time cleaning and fixing. Do what you need to the engine etc, there is plenty of time to decide what to do about the fenders. You can always take them off later. I'm on my fifth car and FOUR of them have been fenderless. I'm now wanting to buy/build a stock bodied car with fenders!! Tim

  11. What part of Florida are you in? PM me if you would rather not "out" yourself.

Personally, I think a 33/34 full fendered is so much better looking than fenderless it would not even cross my mind to take them off. Oh, and I am not one that feels that every old hot rod has to be kept as originally built, if it was an iconic build or if you like the original build style, then yes maintain it. Otherwise I would build it how I wanted it.

I have heard that 3W Larry has occasional "Fits of Fascism." Any takers on this ?

Those side panels look right at home. Are they '33-'35 Chevy pieces ?

My '34 2-DR had 235R75's on 15 steelies with slight reverse hoop. Don't remember what the backspace was. My rearend was a stock '57 Ford station wagon 9" with no narrowing. Some rodders will position their mounted tire/wheel combination under the car and measure the exact distance where the axle flanges will fall, and that is your perfect width rearend.

Great, another survivor is going to become a "traditional" hot rod.

Get on the 'photoshop thread to end all photoshop threads" and have "Moose" or one of those digital magicians make your ideas come to life.
