Hi Im new to this site. Im currently working on new frontengine dragster for backet racing. Plans are for 225 inch wheelbase with 526 ci hemi(cheapest part have leftover from previous racing), powerglide and 9" rearend tat I jst finished fabricating the housing for. Im also going to be working on restoring a 1969 panel truck I got that my grandfather bought new. Yea never boarded around here just always broke. I have pretty good background in fabrication,maching,welding and engine building. All of these came from my racing alky funny anf dragsters for about 9 years. We use to run IHRA Top Alcohl funny car and did pretty well qualifing in top half of feild about 90 % of time and almost won championship in 1994.Unfortunatlely almost means same as didnt get close in dragracing. Our car was blue with shooting star on side named Starr Rider after good freind who died while working on our first car Alan Starr also from greensboro he ran a chevy powered T/F dragster for years back in late 60's and early 70's. Hopefully I can pickup few tips off site and maybe give few back.
