    Nice truck, Chris!

  5. Your truck looks great! What cam did you go with?

  6. They are all fiberglass that I could find. Not really what I wanted, but it should last forever and it is waterproof. I bought the bare fiberglass board from Mac's. It was 100.00 instead of 250.00 for one with jute glued to it. You can buy the pre cut jute as well for 35.00, I just had to dril my own holes in the figerglass. Was a pretty strait forward job, and I saved a little over 100.00

  7. Winfield SU-1A. Same cam in my roadster. I love that cam, good broad power, very street friendly and a good sound.

  8. Better hurry! Flathead run is coming up ;) We are changing the location to N. Wenatchee now!

  9. That's exactly the information I needed for the firewall insulation.
    Thank you.

Really looking forward to seeing the finished pictures of your truck here.

  10. Yeah, I'm really looking forward to driving this ol girl again!

  14. Got it fired and broke in, and back in the truck! Now a lot of screwing around with wiring and plumbing, but the light is at the end of the tunnel

You've got to love that Bad-Assed truck. Every thing about it is great.

Only sure way too stop the snow is to mount a snow plow on the truck. Once you do that it won't snow again until next winter.:rolleyes::D

  25. Love this pickup. The Eddie topped flattie makes it even cooler. I'm also glad you swaped the wheels if you know what I mean.

  26. Truck looks great with new engine setup. Checked out your roadster at your link looks killer with fenders.

  27. I filled over a hundred holes in a buddy's firewall years ago and then painted it. Went back a few days later and his moron brother in law had holes drilled everywhere, some even where he could use them. I could not believe it. Needless to say, they stayed that way.

  28. Looks great Chris, Can't wait to see you tearing up the road!!

  29. Thanks...yeah thats another project I have going right now too. You really find out how little your time and money go when you have 2 major projects going at once.

  30. Got some more work done over the weekend. All I need to do is finish the wiring, mount the radiator and bolt the headers/exhaust up. A few other odds and ends but she should be running again soon!!!
