The Ford 302 motor in my 1949 Gasser coupe is junk and needs to be scrapped, I have a C-4 in the car and need to know what model years of the 302 will be compatible with the C-4. The motor coming out of the car is a 1973 (casting no. starts with D3). Thanks in advance to all who are smarter than me.

  4. You can bolt any year 302 engine you like to it, as well, as any 240/300 6-cylinder, Most 289 (except the early 5-bolt 289 engines), all 302 engines and the 351 Windsor engines all share the same bolt pattern and will fit your bellhousing. Tom
