New guy from Lee's Summit, MO

    Hello all!! Frank here... into old cars since I was a kid, had many, finished a few. It was always getting rid of one to get another, learned a little on each one though. For awhile I got back into messing with aircooled VW's because they were cheap, got a 55' bug and a 56' panel back on the road and sold them last year.
    I finally made it to the Greaserama show and loved it! After the show I chopped, sectioned a bug I had lying around... I'll post some pictures when I figure out how. Just picked up a 1954 Chevy pickup this weekend to work on, so I guess I'm back to working with old American metal! I would like to make it my daily driver, we will see...

    Looks like some interesting projects going on.

    Lee Summit, Mo. also home of one of the best pinstrippers ever!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Bob Bond who over the years did many of the stars of Hollywoods cars and who now puts out a great magazine called Auto Art.

    Nice to see another new guy.

    Welcome to the HAMB... Looks like you have a good truck to start on... Have a VW powered sandrail that I bought in Springfield in 2004. Used to live in Blue Springs and have many friends around Lee's Summit. Good luck with your projects!...Again..WELCOME!..duane
