Thanks all. I'll keep the tips in mind.
Welcome from mid-Alabama, ROLL TIDE!
See,this is a friendly place....When a FNG turns out to be a pretty lady we get several pages of Welcomes
Do you notice that most newbies get a couple of welcomes but when a girl signs up, she gets a ton ?

Welcome from AZ. I love early Comets and I've had a few of them. Here's my '60 wagon.

Aside from that.... Welcome from dripping wet So.Cal
I just got a little weak in the knees. I love any and all wagons, but those Comets are so clean. You have that now?
Welcome from Mississippi (Gautier). There are a lot of south Alabama people on here.

Wow! Thanks for that!
Welcome from the snowy coast of Maine!
Yep, sure do. Just had it in the Goodguys Southwest show in Scottsdale. Fun car. Feel free to ask any questions that come up when you go through yours, and we'll be looking forward to seeing your build.
Whama Lama Ding Dong from California
Howdy. That original paint on your car? Nice soild looking body. Enjoy the show.
No. The original color was sort of a light aqua/teal. That was before I owned it. I wouldn't mind going two tone with it. Maybe fleck the roof. I know that sounds kinda tacky. But what the hell? Why not?
The engine isn't even original. Which kinda sucks.
Two toned mine. I like the look on the early comets. I need to take some more recent pics, this right after I painted it. I'm keeping that great side trim I just ditched the door handles. Maybe it will be as nice as that black 61 someday! By the way I never actually did say hello, so hello from San Diego.
I agree 100%, but in this case I actually have something in common with the newbie female... I own a 62 version of the Comet...anyway welcom from So. Cal, I have not a clue where on earth you live
