Greetings from Decatur. I am George and I have been lurking here since my last deployment to Afghanistan in 2005. I recently retired from the Army Reserve and I now have my 37 Studebaker on the road after working on it for 10 years. I have learned a lot from this site and hope that I can contribute a little back to help others. The only thing better than working on an old car is driving one, and I "restored" my 37 to be a driver. It still has the flathead 6 and 3-speed overdrive transmission and I am still running 6-volts. It does have lots of updates such as an alternator and modern wiring with fuses and circuit breakers. It needs a better interior eventually and a set of skirts, but at least I can finally drive it! George
Yes, I talked to you at the parts store not long ago. I also put my car in the show at the town hall this year and remember seeing your El Camino when I drove in. You have a great car!
