Probably the most highly anticipated new feature of the new H.A.M.B.. We are officially the first forum in the world to partner with Instagram - allowing you to display your Instagram feed on your user profile as well as post your Instagram photos on threads. Here's how it works: 1. Go to your user profile/personal details page (click here). Scroll down to the fields labeled, "Instagram Username" and "Instagram Tag." Obviously, for username you just enter your Instagram username. For the tag, simply enter "#hamb". Once done, every image you post on Instagram using the #hamb tag will appear on your user profile and be available to post on threads (simply click the Instagram icon when posting a new thread or reply). It's simple and works wonderfully, but we are still in Beta. For instance, at the moment it can take as long as 2 hours for a photo taken with Instagram to show in your feed. However, that time will be decreased very soon. Also, if you would like to see all of the images on Instagram tagged with the "#hamb" tag, you may do so here. Enjoy!
Awesome! My biggest frustration has been remembering to save the IG photos on my phone so I can upload them to the HAMB later. This will make things a breeze. Very cool Ryan!
question, say we wanted to display more than just the #hamb, do we just separate the hashtags with commas to add more in the settings? Only reason I ask is because sometimes I forget to tag #hamb every time but tag other things traditional hot rod related. for instance: #hamb, #hotrod, #kustom

At this time, you can only use one tag or no tags. If you use one tag, only the images tagged with said tag will appear in your feed. If you use no tags, all your instagram images will display. You had a bunch of tags listed... You can only use one. I fixed it for you.
I think I am really going to enjoy this Instagram and HAMB thing one thing, are we stuck with pictures being this big? mine seem to get sort of pixelated....
Your Instagram photos will appear on your profile page - click on the "Instagram" tab; To tag a photo, just go to your Instagram feed, select an image you'd like to tag, and type in #hamb in the comment box;

Videos don't work yet. Technically, they are still in Beta with Instagram and as such I don't have access to that code.
@Ryan The Instagram feature is worth having to re-learn the rest of the site. Seriously, a huge plus. Now, if I could do this on the Android app...
@Ryan - wondering if you could help me fix an Instagram photo issue. My account is "nicks_garage", which I have entered in my 'Personal Details'. I deleted it, saved, and re-entered "nicks_garage", but "nicks.garage" IG account keeps linking. One character difference . or _. Do you know of a way to fix it? Thanks for your time.
Newbie on this one.... I have a hard time navigating around the site. I guess I'll just have to play with it until something breaks.
Looks like you found a bug. Have you tagged anything with #hamb? If not, would you mind doing so so that I may test a fix?
