Some random Desoto 251 engine porn. A picture of the coated skirt pistons next to one of the stock pistons. Cool LS1 valves, and LS1 beehive valve springs, some bitchen port work, my cam card, with specs.

I know it's been a while since your last post but... any update?
I've enjoyed reading your thread. Working on a 53 DeSoto myself.

So did you ever get anywhere with this car? I'm curious to see how much it snowballed.

looks like Jason hasn't been on since January. I hope he's so busy working on his cars that he hasn't had time...

    Well...
About two weeks ago I picked up the completed engine. That was the last piece I was Waiting on. Should have some good updates soon.

The 1963 Fairlane has an amazing new paint job, so does the air bagged 1964 Galaxie. Work has gotten in the way of having free time. Being the sole means of support for my mother with Alzheimer's and my 90 year old grandfather has added to the stress. I had a lot more fun when I could hang out in the shop and drink a few beers and work on my projects. I guess being sober is its own reward.
    One day at a time.

  12. great to hear about the sobriety - one day at a time brother.

That is going to be such an awesome DeSoto man! No stone left unturned on this one. . .
