stopped down to see ed and Chris today. My 32 is almost ready to come home. These two guys are incredible. They go above and beyond and are also fun to deal with. Can't wait to get her home and start finishing her up. I also have a man a fre intake with 4 2 barrels. A few other goodies I can't wait to get on!!
Come on! Get that thing home! You're killing me! Can't wait to get my body from them! Arrrggghhhhhh!!!!!! May not live till spring! They do nice work, looks great. SPark
Ma ..a free intake...I like free.....that intake is like an urban legend....any history on that beauty...
I never cared for the too short grille shell on the American Graffiti coupe. Other than that nice. Just sayn.
Nice car. Do the man-a-free you mentioned in your first post, and do it proud. Every car can use a focal point to put it up that "extra" notch..
Those things look cool. I had one for a SBF years ago but sold it for $300 (going price at the time), never got around to installing it. I always wondered how difficult it would have been to get it all synchronized and running right.
There's a procedure, nothing more. The ball bearing heims are critically necessary, as are the left-and-right hand threaded rods. Lastly, a device to apply tension on the primary throttle rod for final synchronization. A 'uni-syn' is necessary for this operation. My wife Joey did more than a few Man-a-Fre & Weiand 4- jug staggered syncs in the early '80s at my Campbell shop. An 'A-B-C act'.
Just remembered this, I think it's a Spalding afterburner add-on. Just the thing for your Man-A-Fre. I recall seeing a NOS setup once on E-Bay, not cheap.
Looks great! Mine is ready to blow apart and we're going to put all the metal in epoxy primer and try to jump thru the inspection/title/license hurdles here. If we're successful there we'll be driving it this fall then going to paint in the winter. Looks like you are ready to cruise! SPark
