I'm driving today in heavy traffic I sight something ahead. I didn't really believe what I saw but took miles to catch sight again
it looked better in the bright sunlight than the cell photo's. the guy said he's had it 20+ years and is running a 430 lincoln.
we both caught a light and jammed thru a few cars to get the first shot. I've never seen Chrome fenders on anything larger than a roadster
Wow, talk about needing some good sunglasses! My bike has a chrome dash and that's enough to blind you on a sunny day, this guy must wear a welding helmet!
10 to 1 say's it's spectra chrome or something of that nature. and the flames are a tinted version. One hell of a bill board if that's what he's doing for a living
Not a sunny day kind of truck for people around it , could burn the retnas out of your eyes but could always check if your do needs combing as you pass by. That is alot of chrome and whats that worth...ouch. Rob
Something you would have to see in person to make a true call on I should think. I kinda like it from the pics though. Doc.
On one of the olympics (cant remember which one) for either the opening or closing cerimonies they had a whole bunch of fully chromed Chevy trucks in a syncronised deal, Never heard what happened to them after. I remember Chevy or someone got in trouble for leaving the logo on the tailgates and they were the only black parts cause they covered the logo
Looks like he belongs to the more money than brains club! Just because you can, don't mean you should..........
I remember when I was a teenager, wondering if you could get a fender chromed. I guess the answer is yes.
It has to be old work, because between EPA regs and rising costs it would cost 5 times what the truck is worth to put chrome on that would peel off in a month.
I know that someone in the Dallas Tx. area had a fully chromed late 70's/early 80's Chevy Blazer. I mean fully chromed...all outside body panels. This was several years ago and haven't seen it since.
