Never let your wife into your shop...

A lot of them are the fake stuff. I normally make an exploratory cut to check the back side of the"leather" to see if it's from an animal, or an oil drum. Some of the cheaper leather couches have real leather on the surfaces that wear, and the fake stuff on the front, sides and back.
