I installed an electric actuator to move my hood. I deleted the latches etc that were stock. I have decided that I need some hood stops/bumpers for the hood to rest on. Anyone know some customers suppliers?

    Thank you in advance....

Auveco catalog has about every rubber bump stop ever made, download the catalog and see what would work. You can usually just google the auveco p/n to find a distributor. A lot of it is sold thru amazon and ebay now.

I used to buy nonmetallics for a large company, if you want a truly customers piece I can give you some suppliers, they'll need 3D model a material spec, but they'll mold up whatever you want. How much ya wanna spend.

As the title states: you want CUSTOM hood stops. Custom by definition means one-off. Go make some of your own.

If you just need hood bumpers, I suggest going to the parts store and asking if they have any on the HELP (brand name) racks. Probably something from a '70 Chevy pickup.

  9. How well does the key fob work when the battery is dead?

About as well as a broken release cable. Nothing is bullet proof (except vests)
