Does anyone know what the correct thermostat to use in a stock 1954 chevy 210? 160, 170, or 180 degrees? I live in Southern California so the weather is good year round. I tried to find out in some of the old manuals I have, but no luck. Thanks for the help in advance

I always go straight to 180. if the engine heats I fix the radiator. Engines should run at least 180 to keep the moisture and acids burned out of the oil
