Found these spindles in a box at the shop. Don't remember where I got them or what they are out off. Maybe someone can help me ID them. I'm hoping they are '42-'48, don't know if in fact they may be '36 on down. I set them next to a '37-'41 spindle and the shaft seems to be the same length from the tip of the thread end to the radius where the bearing seats. Don't have any '42-'48 to compare them.
The width on the flat sides is about 1/16" less than 4 7/8". The height on the round ends is about 4 3/4" high. The shaft is about 5" long from the thread end to the radius where the bearing seats.

Thanks for any help you can give me. Joe. 20170414_114618.jpg 20170414_114618.jpg 20170414_114634.jpg 20170414_114739.jpg 20170414_114800.jpg 20170414_114829.jpg

The 5" measurement in your fifth photo shows that they are 1936 spindles, the '35's are longer by 1/4" IIRC.

Guess that's why they have been hanging around and were never used. Thanks for the reply. Joe
