We are looking for pictures, diagrams or any information on power seats for a 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air. We think we have all the parts but need to know how to put it all together.

You can send the pics or info to [email protected] or call Ray Terry at 512-757-8899.

    Thank you

About the only place you would find that would be in the original factory shop manual and wiring diagrams if it is even in them. That had to be a very rare option on a Chevy in 1954. Or was it even an option?

It is a very rare option for the '54 Chevy, probably a few hundred at best. Its taken us years to even find the parts. If anyone has some pics of how they were mounted that would be a big help. We don't know if the motor moved with the seat or was mounted to the floor.

Contact Old Car Parts in Portland OR 503-771-9416. Joe has one on his convert and I sold him mine out of my 54 4dr. Hes has had lots and would be a great help.

The guys at chevytalk.org might be able to help. They know their old Chevys very well.

I have this option in my 54 210 and am looking for a new switch. Any one know where to get one?

  11. Not so rare. Seen several. Some reason mostly in fordors.
