I have a 12volt Delco Generator, #1100415 , I took it off a 235 Chevy 6. I have had no luck finding any info on it anywhere. Im pretty sure it didnt on that engine originally. I could really use some info on it, amps, what it came on. Stuff like that. Thanks!

google suggests it might be off a tractor. Not real suprising....

  3. If someone has some older AEA electrical catalogs, that would be where to dig, those cover everything.

I did the google search too.... Thats kinda what I saw suggested also... Any idea how many amps it might put out? I might try the local automotive electric shop, maybe they could help.

What color is the tag? Red = 12 volts. Black = 6 volts. I've got some catalogs at home. I'll check tonight. There are a lot more 6 volt generators than 12 volt ones. But you already knew that.

Thanks man! 20 amps..... That seems a bit too low for a car in my opinion.
