So on my build i am running drums front drums rear. I bought a universal under floor master cylinder/pedal assembly that is specifically for drum/drum.
Well because of clearance issues and floor room/ pedal swing, i am debating on going this route http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Wilwood-Dual-Master-Cylinder-Floor-Mount-Pedal-Assembly,7192.html

What are everyones opinions? i understand i will need a 10 psi residual check valve front and rear. But how will the drum drum setup work with two master cylinders?

Looking for some advice before i drop the money, Thanks in advance

  2. Looks to me that one is made to mount ontop of the floor pan. you need to stay with your original plan. One old mans opinion.

This is the amount of room I am working with and with the floor mount I would need a kick pan of some sort for the pedal swing

The advantages of a side-by-side racing master setup are shorter pedal travel and integral front/rear balance control.
The disadvantages are cost, increased pedal efforts and complexity. A single dual master cylinder is a simpler, cheaper and better way to go for most street applications, IMO.

I'd sure try to go under the floor, even if it means making room for it by reworking an offset in the frame. I'd also 2nd the dual single master, vs. two masters. It will work well, and be easier to set up. Plus you can use a common factory master that will always be easy to replace.

This is basically the one I have now, my main issue is that I will have to mount it closer to the seat to avoid the travel of hitting the firewall, but I only have so much room before it will hit the trans crossmember

That style arm is designed to fit under the toe board, only part inside the car is the section that your foot hits. Make a new straight arm that comes up at a slight angle to the rear of the car from the pedal pivot. Then move the MC further forward making sure the pedal can stroke the MC full travel befor hitting the firewall.

I cut the arm off the pivot, I will be moving it and changing angle. Also I will need to change the floor bracing a little.
Would it be sketchy to have the arm curved to jab it further left?

I have made arms with offsets one way or the other before. Before getting too carried away with pedal location determine where the steering column is going to be.
