    Hey there all,
just wondering if anyone out there has any suggestions for what to use as a roof on a 29 Desoto 6 i just got the bare bones and am looking to square her op but i have no roof panels (sides that is) i have some ceder a->c pillar braces and a cross brace bow template.

just wondering if anyone else has been in this situation.

Should i look at a doner roof?

should i make one from scratch?

    any suggestions appreciated..

That was mostly wood. There were 4 tin pieces that fit under the roof beams, just above each door, to hide the wood when the door is open. These had lots of tabs with nail holes.

I don't recall what they had for rain gutters. I think they were long strips, nailed on.

If you are good with wood joining, do wood and tie all the A,B, and C pillars to it.

If you are real good with metal, maybe try small bendable square tubing, but either way, it will be a lot of work. Wood might be easier.
