  10. This is my 38 coupe. My dad bought it as a roller in 1971. Finished it in '82. Won a top 25 at the NSRA nationals in OKC '83. It's still on the road, paint is hair-checking pretty bad, but runs and drives great.

The second pic is the NSRA nationals in St. Paul in '79

Boy, I really like the stance and the wheels on this 38, but wish someone would do their Photoshop magic on it by putting some true vintage Americans 5 spokes on it.
These are specifically called TT "D" s in case you can find better photos with them mounted on tires.
    Thanks.

I saw you were mentioned on another thread about you doing this kinda stuff, and was hoping you would give it a go. Just what I was looking for.
Would be curious to know how the cars' owner thinks it looks now.
    Outstanding job.
    Thanks

Yeah, I like 'em...but I'm partial to the kidney bean knock-off wheel.
I went nuts trying to find original Halibrand pin drive wheels in the size I wanted...to no avail.
Went with PS Eng. wheels w/ pin drive adapter plates...worked out fine.

    Nice photoshop work!

I also feel rather privileged to be in the same thread as Don Nowell! RIP Racer.
