I am trying to buy a clutch linkage ball , the one that threads in the side of a chevy block, I think they were used on 70s chevy trucks. I need the part number or where I can get one. Thanks

Chevelle repro vendors carry them. I think it was the same part across the board.

I broke mine in my 64 on the way to a show 150 miles from home more than 20 years ago. I wandered the meager swap meet and found a guy with one hanging out the side of a 409. He was kind enough to sell it to me for $2, then I was able to work the old one out in the parking lot and install the new one. It's amazing what you can do when you don't know you can't! Anyway, that same clutch ball has been through every motor I've owned since.

Looks to still be available from GM but you'll likely have to buy a pair if you special order them. About $18 each.
