John Swander (Swanders?) owns it... or at least owned it until it was smashed from behind and pushed into the vehicle in front of him last year. I think it was running a late Corvette motor? When was that picture taken? Wondering if it's an old photo or if he got it back on the road?
He will be at the Stray Kat 500 this weekend. What do you want to know? I'll take more pictures and post them for you. The following is a sketch that Keith Kaucher did for us last year. Happy Trails, Mick
Mick, if you can get me some different angle shots of the whole car I'd appreciate it. I like the ride height so I'd like to get info on what size tires and wheels he's running along with suspension. Thanks!
Consider it done. Two years ago when he was krusi'n around Dewey, my jaw just hit the floor. Like you said everything about it is just right. It would be ruff to own a perfect Hot Rod. Happy Trails, Mick
I would agree that that thing looks awesome. I think I would strip the number and gloss the black, oops than it would almost be a Spencer cloan....but I love the Spencer roadster, I love that roadster too. The chopped top is perfect on that.
You ought to see this guys antique airplanes. Same kind of attention to detail! He runs a VW shop in KC, now thats covering all the bases
