I'm going through a banger motor and I've misplaced my manual with all the specifications. I need torque specs, bearing clearances, torque pattern, etc. Does anyone have a link to a webpage with all the info? Thanks Tom
Hi I have seen pages with all the specs before but I don't find any goos ones now. Here is one with some info regarding clearances and torque figures: http://www.mmafc.org/spectech/engine24.html Here is a PDF (17MB big) of a instruction manual. Same info as the page above but also including how to do stuff: http://www.fordmodela.org/media/File/misc/engine_chassis_manual.pdf But non of these have any info on head torque and sequence. I hope this helps anyway. //MAgnus
Now that I'm at home I might as well add the torque sequence. I just took a pic of a page in one of my model A books. My scanner wouldn't communicate with my computer today. But it turned out OK I think. As a completly unrelated side note. We have something in common. My friend Christer, Chrisman on here, told me that he once rode with you in your roadster and fell asleep. He did that when he rode in my un-muffled 4-banger coupe too. //Magnus
Below is a link to Dyke's Automobile Encyclopedia which I found on Google Books. This book has EVERYTHING you ever wanted to know about Model T's and A's http://books.google.com/books?id=ka...2&dq=dykes+auto&lr=&ei=kgFZSsqZI4_mlASFzMGgBw
