I have the front and rearend out of a 1948 Lincoln with Bendix style brakes. Would like to use them on my next project. Rear end looks different than Ford. Has anyone used thease parts before? thanks

The rear is a hypoid gear set otherwise very simular to Ford. BUT as I remember only 4.11 and 4.44 ratios available.

The brakes at least are a really good find. Rear will be I think 4.26 or 4.44, intended for use with a close ratio 3 -speed and overdrive. It needs the overdrive to be useful, and the rear itself needs to be in good shape because parts will be difficult to find.
