I have been researching my motor and from what I have found I am pretty sure C = 60's, 6 = 1966, and A = Galaxie, the E is something like Ford Enginering or Engine.

Mine just had the 4 characters, but I am pretty sure the J is the size of the motor or a more detailed description of the type of motor. I do not have any of that info with me at work.
