Hot Rods need info on digger at Byron

A friend and I were reviewing some pics of cars at Byrons and we ran across this way cool early slingshot . I did not get an y info on it while I was there ,and I never seen it run . Anybody give me the low down on it?

 

The Seam Ripper!! It belongs to Mikey Brown of Mikey's Kustom Upholstery. He's not on the HAMB but he has lots of pics on his Instagram @mikeybrown1957 He also said to shoot him a call or text if you want. 812-525-9509

 

Frame is from Cornfield Customs, according to the owner.

Frame is classic design, but intricate in detail. The spring mount blends with the capped tubes gracefully, streamlining what would otherwise be a blunt end.
Total design around a timeless inliner, so clean!

Am I correct that a car built like that can't race anywhere? Even if it slower than 10.00 seconds?

 

It can at EAGLE FIELD...No NHRA, though.
