I've got an old DT 504 Sun Distributor machine and was lucky enough to pick up a flathead distributor adaptor at Chickasha last weekend. I fired it up yesterday and found the strobe function was not working. Looking further, there is a resistor (maybe a diode) burned that ties one post of the vacuum tube to ground. Does anyone have a schematic diagram for these units? I'd really like to put this machine to work.

I have one also, if you can snap a picture of the area in question I can look on mine this weekend and see if there is a value or color code if a resistor on the burned part. Brian

Thanks for the help guys. Brian, I will get a picture and send to you in the next couple days. You might be able to tell - it is the resistor or diode link from the vacuum tube to a common ground lug on the metal case. It kind of hangs out there on its own.
