I snapped this picture last weekend at Sonoma. Too bad I didn't get a better shot of the 8 door for you. It's a bit different from yours as it only has one rear window behind the door. J & D Corvette owns it. Have fun with yours. Nick

    Wow, that's damn nice! :D

So far on my end between the constant rain storms and tornado warnings we've been pounding away on the roof skin still... gotta love it when people jump on roofs at wrecking yards.

You might consider a Dodge turbo diesel, so you can afford fuel. I had a short GMC school bus with a Chev 348. On a good day it got 7 MPG.

  10. I know that this is an old thread, but I am looking for one '55-59 Stageway passenger side door (and surrounding sheetmetal). Would love it if anyone would be willing to share any leads!

Love it, I'd hate to be the one doing the bodywork on this and paint prep. A few acres of panels there and then all the weatherstrips!. Maybe OT but a late V8 GM or Ford drive train / suspension with turbo diesel and automatic. Plenty of torque with at least the possibility of some economy? Imagine that on bags!
I note the OP has been on the board since May 2015.

making a 3 door? I had some ideas about doing that to my 57 Suburban years ago, but decided against it. It would make it to convenient, and modern feeling :)

  13. Squirrel, I have a lead on patching the gaping hole behind my passenger door, but adding the 3rd door would great for the family :D

Danny doubt you'll get an answer he hasn't been on here since Sept 2019

  16. Danny, if you have a spare passenger door, I'd be interested!!!
